The second HAPI Jr. – Health is Wealth event took place in Sta. Cruz, Manila and Caloocan City on December 13, 2020. As with the first part of the initiative, the children were provided with masks, milk, crackers and holiday tokens.

Since the children all belong to different barangays in those cities, it required additional effort on the part of HAPI JR. Ambassador, Angie Driskell, and HAPI CFO, Maria Juana Valenzuela, during distribution.

Although the number of registered children still remained at 27, it is expected that the number will rise once registration forms are provided for other children that are interested in joining HAPI Jr. With this in mind, a nutritional program will be put into place starting in 2021. For now, the goal was to give them something to enjoy and look forward to after such a chaotic year.

We hope to implement more health and educational programs in these areas in the upcoming months. We are hopeful that this will be a success thanks to the eagerness and cooperation of the parents who are involved.
