HAPI – Feeding sa Riles ng Alabang, Muntinlupa

Maaga akong gumising upang magluto ng 15 kilos na spaghetti at 20 pcs whole fried chicken, nakahanda na rin ang 200 loot bags at 200 tetra pack juices. Dahil sa araw na ito ay ipagdidiwang naming ang Thanksgiving sa pamamagitan nang HAPI Feeding kasama ang isang napakabuting mag sing irog na sina Will Davidson at Rhoda Gallardo 10 am sinundo namin sila sa kanilang tinutuluyang Hotel at dumating kami sa 7c Tabing Riles ng 11am maulan ngunit hindi ito nagging hadlang para sa mga batang sabik sa kasiyahan ang dumalo.

Masayang pumila ang mga bata upang tumanggap ng masasarap na pagkain at regalo mula kay Sir Will Davidson na isang actibong taga suporta ng mga programa ng Humanist Alliance Philippines, International o HAPI. Habang nag eenjoy sa panonood ng masasayang bata sina Will at Rhoda ay isa isang nagsilapitan ang mga bata at nag bigay ng mga thank you card na sarili nilang gawa kay Will. Hanggang may isang bata ang nagbigay na birthday card kay Will dahil sabi nya kaya daw may spaghetti kasi merong may kaarawan, kaya nagkaisa ang lahat at sabay sabay umawit ng HAPI Birthday. Habang sabay sabay ding pumapalakpak mula umpisa hanggang matapos ang HAPI Feeding ay walang humpay na tawanan at kulitan. Pinanood din nila kung paano magsiligo sa ulan ang mga batang riles, hanggang sa dumating na ang oras ng pag lisan dahil kinailangan na naming umalis upang tumungo sa HAPI Farm. Ang pag punta sa HAPI Farm ay upang mapakita kay Sir Will ang isang Income Generating Project ng HAPI. At para na rin makita niya sa personal si WILLY at HAPI the goat. Ang dalawang kambing na binigay ni Sir Will para idagdag sa mga alagang hayop ng HAPI Nest at Farm.

Maputik ang daan patungo sa burol kung saan naka tali si WILLY the Goat ngunit hindi ito alintana nina Will at Rhoda. Masayang-masaya sila noong nakita na nila ang Farm ng HAPI. Nakita din nila ang mga alagang manok, sisiw, turkey, baka, at mga baboy sa aming munting HAPI Farm. Kitang-kita ang tuwa sa mukha ni sir Will at ni Rhoda matapos magkape ay nilisan na naming ang farm upang maihatid muli si Sir Will at Rhoda sa kanilang tinutuluyan. Isang masaya at makabuluhang araw ang natapos, isang napakasayang paraan ng pagdiriwang ng Thanksgiving sa Pilipinas ang HAPI Feeding sa Riles ng Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Si Jamie del Rosario Martinez ay isang mabuting ina, anak, at asawa.Siya ang “Superwoman” ng Purok 7C Alabang, Muntinlupa dahil sa kanyang ginagampanang pambihira bilang isang pinuno ng kanilang komunidad.
