TERMINATION and SCAMMING ALERT: ALJOHN de Leon from Bulacan State University is NO longer connected with HAPI

Please be informed that the former executive secretary of HAPI, ALJOHN de Leon,  has been terminated due to FRAUD.

Edited By Christopher Michael Barredo

He was discovered after his failure to return HAPI funds that were supposedly for his Singapore convention which consisted of plane fare and registration fees, totaling approximately 10, 000.00 PHP.

Aljohn de Leon is taking up journalism in Bulacan State University

He had also scammed  the HAPI chairperson,  Marissa Langseth (Ms. M) of more than 27,000 USD in a span of three years by pretending to be a stow-away in need of board and lodging, internship and transportation (he even charged his drinking water),  in exchange for the occasional amount of work by making articles for HAPI. He also had some elaborate scamming activities involving his professors in BULSU where he claimed that he needed more money in order to graduate accordingly, a story which Ms. M was taken-in on.

Please take note of this person because  he is once again discovered to be asking for more money from OFW’s and foreigners as if nothing happened. At least 3 OFW’s and one foreigner have reported-in already.

In the past, his response to Ms. M’s announcement that she cannot support him anymore was criminal – He sabotaged the website, removed all articles, pictures and videos. We have witnesses and XOOM financial transactions to support this case.

HAPI members and the public at large are warned of the fraudulent nature of said person in hopes of avoiding possible victims in the future. A few more people came out that Aljohn tried to solicit money from them despite ms M’s financial support at that time. More information at Ms M’s personal blog at. http://hapihumanist.org/2016/09/15/in-photos-proof-of-aljohn-de-leons-scamming-a-public-service/
