HAPI CEO gains two new roles in Humanists International

HAPI CEO Javan Lev Poblador has been named the new Young Humanists International Coordinator and Social Media Consultant. Aside from managing the social media platforms of Humanists International and assisting in creating promotional materials, Poblador will work with young humanists worldwide.

This comes after the young humanist leader was inducted into his current position as HAPI Chief Executive Officer last December 2020.

Poblador has been a staunch activist for humanism and environmentalism since 2012. Among other achievements, he is the former Director for Design and Creatives of ATO-ClimatEducate Project and the co-founder and former pioneer president of the Association of Young Environmental Journalists, a youth-led environmental media organization. He also represented the Philippines during the ASEAN Plus Three Youth Environment Forum 2019 in Thailand.

Humanists International is the global representative body of the humanist movement, uniting a diversity of non-religious organizations and individuals. Previously known as IHEU, the organization works to build, support, and represent the global humanist movement, defending human rights, particularly those of non-religious people, and promoting humanist values worldwide.

HAPI has been part of the Humanists International umbrella since 2015.
