HAPI-CDO acknowledges the value of education as a potent instrument for influencing the world, and as one of the most crucial methods for learning and comprehending the universe we live in. To that end, we seek to promote education by sharing educational materials; our hope is that these books and tools inspire kids to continue learning and step into their important roles in determining our future.
As part of our first batch, the HAPI-CDO-Balik Eskwela School Supplies Distribution Program last May 27, 2026 successfully gave educational materials to thirty children in Sitio San Pedro, Indahag, Cagayan de Oro. We then carried out the second wave last May 29, 2026 at Balangaw sa Kalinaw, Taguanao, Indahag, Cagayan de Oro where we gave educational materials to thirty-six children. In total, 66 children benefited from our small Supplies Distribution Program. Students in kindergarten and primary school received the school materials to assist them get ready for the impending start of classes.
Johnny Denden, HAPI Membership Manager, gave parents and kids information about HAPI and its community objective during each activity. In the meantime, the team organised entertaining games and activities for the kids under the direction of the CDO chapter’s Lead Convenor Maria Louizza Fugoso.
With the help of our HAPI founder, Marissa Torres Langseth, and our committed HAPI-CDO volunteers, the event gained even greater significance. This outreach effort would not have been successful without their assistance and collaboration.
