From December 2025 through February 2026, HAPI Pride and HAPI Cebu, in collaboration with LoveYourself Cebu, a volunteer organization dedicated to HIV awareness and support, have continued their partnership by organizing a series of educational caravans and workshops. This ongoing alliance showcases their commitment to promoting sexual health and compassion within the Cebu community.
The initiative began in December 2025 with a community caravan at The Outlets in Lapu Lapu City. Here, volunteers from LoveYourself Cebu gathered to celebrate World AIDS Day, aiming to spread the gift of love and compassion, break the stigma surrounding HIV, and encourage caring for one another. During the event, volunteers provided confidential HIV screening and delivered an introductory HIV 101 session to shoppers and passersby. This marked the start of a series of community engagement activities.

Following the success of the initial caravan, in January 2026, volunteers shifted their focus toward internal growth and skill development. Building on the momentum, HAPI Pride and HAPI Cebu partnered again with LoveYourself Cebu to launch SPLASH and TSC Sessions. From January 4 to 25, a series of workshops on HIV screening and counseling were led by Rad Granada at the LoveYourself Cebu Hub. These face-to-face sessions went beyond basic HIV education, delving into technical aspects of HIV/AIDS and emphasizing the art of compassionate counseling. As a result, volunteers were prepared to facilitate HIV 101 seminars for future caravans.
Building on this momentum, on February 8, the three groups launched another caravan, this time partnering with Smartsourcing, a company dedicated to workplace excellence. The volunteer team was able to screen 103 employees, making it an inspiring day that prioritized sexual health and awareness within the workplace.

Continuing their mission, on Valentine’s Day, the organizations partnered with Mandaue City College to celebrate self-love and community care. In cooperation with the Cebu Heritage Lions Club, HAPI and LoveYourself Cebu hosted the “Break the Silence: Talk About HIV” caravan. During this event, the team screened 52 students and sparked courageous conversations about HIV awareness and sexual health, reinforcing the importance of education and compassion in the community.
