International Women’s Month: A Salute to the Mothers, Sisters and Wives of the HAPI community

Image result for international women's day

This month, we celebrated women all across the globe and their contributions to humanity throughout the many lives and generations we’ve spent on this good Earth. HAPI women were recently featured in The Atlantic for their steadfast willingness to make a difference in the country of the Philippines where secular and humane values are often at odds with the highly religious stance of most of its population.

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

In line with the International Women’s day last March 8, we also salute the steadfast and willing women volunteers of the Humanist Alliance Philippines, International. Brave mothers, sisters, wives and girlfriends. Responsible human beings who are working hard to make a difference for the betterment of all within the community against prejudice, bigotry, violence, inequality and indoctrination.
