HAPI Secular Calendar : First of Its Kind
HAPI Secular Calendar: First of Its Kind
By: Kryshia Gayle Solon

Humanist Alliance Philippines, International (HAPI) launches its very first secular calendar globally, first through the Philippines. The HAPI calendar highlights the quotes that intend to educate about concepts that revolve around human progress and human morality–Humanism.

What makes the HAPI Calendar interesting? Not only will this calendar help you keep track of your monthly agenda, deadlines, and goals, it also contributes to the visualization of your plans while considering the holidays as well. Unlike the usual calendars, it openly presents quotations from well-known humanists, imposing significant lessons worth keeping in mind and putting into action. Aesthetically pleasing design, ample space for jotting down memoranda, eye-opening quotes, and a complete list of holidays, what more could you want from a calendar?

One of the humanists included was Carl Sagan, also known as the astronomer of the people. “The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself,” Truly inspiring.

Aside from Sagan, the HAPI Founder, Marissa Torres  Langseth also has her spotlight too. As the only SEC-registered humanist organization in the Philippines, HAPI aims to show the Filipino people that human thinking and action hold the key to solving our problems rather than divine intervention.

The minimalist graphic design was created by one of the very talented HAPI Scholars, Angelo Greñas,  while the introductory description was written by the HAPI Chief Executive Director, Javan Lev Poblador.
