The HAPI Summer Class Program (HSCP) is an Early Childhood Development Program for children of ages three (3) to five (5) years old with Separation Anxiety Disorder with the theme:
“ISUMMER SI BABY PARA SA K-12 READY!”
Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD), is an anxiety disorder in which an individual experiences excessive anxiety regarding separation from home or from people to whom the individual has a strong emotional attachment. The main goal of this program is to ease the Separation Anxiety Disorder in children before stepping into K-12 program in public or private school by developing the child’s academic skills and psychological skills through 3’Rs.
The Three R’s
HAPI-HSC will be focusing on both academic and psychological skills during the two month program.
Academic Skills:
- Reading (READING)
- Riting (WRITING)
- ‘Rithmetic (ARITHMETIC)
Psychological Skills:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Reasoning.
Ms. Jean Karla Tapao, the Lead Implementer of the HSC program stated that “Both parents and children would benefit from this program especially to those who are living on the outskirt part of our barangay. We are preparing the children’s body and mind by unlocking their Separation Anxiety Disorder before going to formal education.” The program will start April 12 to May 20 (Every Saturday) at Milenyo Day Care, North Fairview, Quezon City with the coordination of Kgd. Giecel Espia of Barangay North Fairview.
