Rebelblood – The Union of Artists’ 1st project of the year 2017.

14, February 2017 – Mass Feeding & Art Session for the abandoned children at Ormoc Holding. Spearheaded by our Vice President Sir Vijay Antopina, Ma’am Lilac Sky, Gigi Narciso Con-ui, Ormoc’s artists Dante Adalim Vecedo & Ronel Abenoja.

Another humanitarian aid project we do since the year 2013. An outreach to feed & be there for the abandoned street children of Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines, with art session, teaching them by & inducing the idea of creativity as an ingenious usage of time.

Report:
On 11. Jan. 2017 our letter of intent was received early by SDCCY Officer in Charge Mrs. Imelda Dadulla, Social Development Center for Children & Youth, & was then recorded on their calendar of events.

On 14. Feb. 2017, the volunteering heroic artists went there at 1:00 PM bringing Spaghetti & Chop Suey, 3 loaves  of American Sandwich Bread, 3 Chiffon Cakes, 20 x tetra packs drinks with straws (all foods & drinks were estimated for 20 persons), acrylic paints, painting brushes, & bond papers. There were about 9 to 10 kids, 2 amongst are class 2 autism abandoned by mothers from the start & basically grew up there, some are abused, & others have criminal cases who couldn’t yet be imprisoned. Our artists lovingly spent time taking care & assisting the kids. The children enjoyed the foods & especially the painting jam. All happy of the kindness, time & effort of the union of artists, & feeling cared for, they & the SDCCY house mother Maam Cherry made a lot of Valentines card for Rebelblood – the Union of Artists gratefully thanking us. The foods were not all consumed & only 2 forms of the chiffon cakes were eaten, the union left the remaining 1 whole form of chiffon cake & other foods there for the kids to eat the next day.

14. Feb. was a successful day full of compassion & love with the abandoned kids at Ormoc Holding, thanks to the heroic altruism of Rebelblood – The Union of Artists. As we never seized to live our lives in the service, support, & aid to our fellowmen; kudos!
