Rain or shine, HAPI Jr. and HAPI Kids – Alabang always do their best to deliver what they promise! This was the case last July 17, 2021 at the ‘Love in a Bowl’ event held in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Not all of the children were able to join the activity or enjoy some ‘lugaw’ (rice porridge) due to the rainy weather. At one point, the children ran for cover and the volunteers transferred everything into a passenger jeepney parked nearby. Once the rain let up, the food was still served but through the jeepney.

After the children had been served their snack, the HAPI team went to ocular-check a potential space for a reading room. Once it was checked and discussed, it was then decided that this would indeed be the site of the soon-to-open learning space for HAPI Kids – Alabang, in cooperation with HAPI Jr.

We did our best to bring some sunshine to the children on an otherwise gloomy day. All we can hope for is better days ahead and more events to come in the new room. We are excited and so is the team! Stay tuned for more updates.
