The moment that everyone had been waiting for had finally arrived. The HAPI Summer Class Program (HSCP) had a remarkable Recognition Day celebration last May 26, 2017 at the Milenyo Covered Court, Phase 8 North Fairview, Quezon City.
The said event was organized by the Project Head Coordinator of HSCP, Ms. Jean Karla M. Tapao, through the help of volunteers from the Milenyo Youth Council (MYC) and in partnership with Barangay North Fairview. More than 400 people participated in the HSCP Recognition Day including the pupils, parents, volunteers and guests.
The Program began with the Philippine National Anthem led by Jayson G. Estañol and followed by the opening remarks by Sec. Rodolfo B. Ochosa of North Fairview and the representative speaker of the North Fairview Brgy. Chairman, Manuel A. Chua. The highlight of the event was then preceded by a short breathtaking number by the Exodus Dance Group.
The distribution of certificates of completion and ribbons for the most outstanding pupils of HSCP was headed by the respected teachers, per class (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday), and handed by the Founding chairman of MYC Mr. Jayve Frech Marigondon, Kgwd. Giecel Marie Espia-Montemayor and representative Sec. Rodolfo B. Ochosa.
After receiving their certificates and awards, simple and cute dance presentations were presented by the combined Monday-and-Wednesday classes and also by the Friday-and-Saturday classes for the amazed and proud guardians and parents of the child/children.
“I am hoping for the best results (from) HSCP especially for the incoming pupils in our barangay on this coming school year 2017-2018 and I am willing to continue my support (for our) next HAPI program.” – Kgwd. Giecel Marie Espia-Montemayor
After a few words regarding the HSCP program, Kgwd. Giecel Marie Espia-Montemayor received a certificate of appreciation from Humanist Alliance Philippines, International (HAPI) in appreciation for her great contribution and invaluable support of the program. This was followed by a speech by Mr. Marigondon, where he shared his gratitude to the people who joined and participated in the event.
