The Humanist Alliance Philippines International (HAPI) is a member of a global community of humanists and as such, HAPI is committed to uphold the promotion of free thinking, environmental protection, gender equality, freedom of speech, and equal protection of individual rights and liberties which includes that of the LGBTQ+ as have been ratified and signed under the Amsterdam Declaration, the Kaohsiung Declaration, and just recently, the Reykjavik Declaration.

If any of the statutes mentioned in these declarations are somewhat problematic or tend to affect your core values, please contemplate on this further to have a better understanding of humanism and what a humanist is supposed to be.

Our members here are more than willing to help you understand humanism further with no judgment but with full empathy.

If we let anger and not rational thinking rule our thoughts, then we would not have been different from the organized religions we have been fighting to enlighten.

If we approach hostility instead with calmness and a friendly gesture of a smile then at least the world would be a more comfortable place to live in for each and everyone of us.

Let’s not fight ignorance with equal animosity. Instead, combat this with education.

Thank you
